Wesley College Melbourne Australia

Celebrating 150 Years

Wesley College Melbourne is a coeducational school of the Uniting Church with a rich tradition on which to base its liberal, broad-based curriculum. Wesley College opened on 11 January 1866, at its St Kilda Road campus and began with just one student, Freddie Binks. Freddie could never have imagined the Wesley College we know today – one of Australia’s leading, innovative, coeducational, multi-campus schools with a student population of more than 3,100. Find out more about some of the highlights of the College’s 150 years of outstanding educational opportunities, by exploring the timeline below.
