Named in honour of Glen D McArthur, Principal of Wesley College from 1992-1996. Glen really enjoyed the Elsternwick campus, and placed great emphasis on fostering the development of music education.
The Elsternwick campus has a well resourced music centre with experienced staff offering exciting and specialised programs. Students have the opportunity to be part of a performing arts group or to specialise in music through the Advanced Music Studies Program. This program is open to all students; however, students will be assessed by audition and interview(with parents) to ascertain the suitability of the program for the student.
Tuition is available for the following: strings (violin, viola, cello, double bass), woodwind (flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone), brass (trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium, tuba) percussion (orchestral, contemporary, drum kit), piano, guitar, voice, communication skills and music theory.
